The Westchester Water Works Conference is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to bring together those interested in the problems of water supply and distribution, for the benefit of themselves and the people they serve.
Programs that the Conference sponsors include workshops that provide training on the management, operation, and maintenance of water systems. The workshops also provide continuing education units to members with New York State Health Department certifications. The Web site being developed will provide pertinent information contributed by Conference members as well as links to other sites of interest.
Besides these programs, the Conference also sponsors scholarship program open to all County residents. The Conference also makes an annual contribution supporting Water for People.
